Remote (U.S.)
Education Reimagined
Date Posted: 10/19/2026
Education Reimagined seeks a Creative Director to bring our brand and ideas to life across publications, websites, social media, events, presentations, and other digital and print experiences.
This is a hands-on role for a versatile creative who can move fluidly between projects of varied sizes and scopes, collaborate closely with colleagues and external partners, and translate ideas into strong creative work. The right person will bring excellent design skills, sound judgment, flexibility, and comfort working in a dynamic environment where projects and priorities evolve.
About Education Reimagined
Education Reimagined is a national nonprofit and catalyst organization supporting the growth of learner-centered education, where young people are known, have agency in their learning, pursue their interests and strengths, and learn in ways that connect to their lives and communities.
We work with educators, communities, partners, and funders across the country to drive the systems change needed for learner-centered education to grow and become accessible to more young people.
Our communications team advances this work through storytelling, thought leadership, digital and print resources, websites, social media, events, films, and other creative experiences.
About the Role
The Creative Director will report to the Chief Communications Officer and work closely with the communications team to develop and execute creative work across Education Reimagined.
The work is varied. On any given project, the Creative Director might design a report, develop social creative assets, collaborate on a website or digital resource, create materials for an event, or help develop a special experience, such as an immersive gallery experience co-designed with practitioners in the field or an evocative webinar that creates a dynamic viewer experience.
The Creative Director will work within an established brand, applying it consistently while finding fresh ways to bring it to life across formats and audiences. Some projects will be executed directly; others will involve managing and collaborating with freelance designers, agencies, web developers, filmmakers, event partners, or colleagues across the organization. This person will play a central role in executing creative work from idea to execution, while also serving as a key conduit between the organization and the external partners who help execute that vision.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys both making and collaborating and who can move comfortably from idea to action, incorporate feedback, adapt as projects evolve, and keep work moving.
