As we’ve passed the one-year mark of the massive Black Lives Matter protests, many organizations in the social sector and racial justice space have been exploring how to keep the momentum going after the historic surge of interest and engagement.
From a communications perspective, how do you keep the pressure on, stay focused on the mission, and engage those from whom you had initial interest when the topic was front and center? We very much still live in the same place we did last summer, but BLM and structural racism is not in the news every day anymore. The breakout discussion for this BYOB will focus on strategies for keeping the conversation going and maintaining interest in these important topics.
