Michelle Lanchart is the founder of Lancara Strategies, a strategic advisory practice that helps mission-driven organizations build shared ownership of their story, strategy, and growth.

She started Lancara after seeing the same pattern — strategy, narrative, and fundraising living with one person, creating confusion and burnout as organizations grow.

Before launching Lancara Strategies, Michelle served as Vice President of Communications & Engagement at Rising Impact, where she led brand, communications, and stakeholder engagement for a global social and behavior change communications nonprofit. She brings more than ten years of experience across communications, fundraising, and chief-of-staff roles, giving her fluency in how decisions get made, where alignment breaks down, and what it takes to move organizations forward.

Michelle holds a PhD in French Literature, where she studied narrative and how people make sense of complexity. She brings that lens directly to her advisory work.
