Keith is a skilled strategic communications counselor with more than 25 years of experience. He is a health communication specialist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, providing health communication and marketing expertise to programs serving people with diabetes and prediabetes. Racial and health equity, partner/ally engagement, and addressing social determinants of health are core areas of focus.

Keith developed his professional focus in the public sector with positions at Porter Novelli and Fleishman Hillard communications agencies where he led national public health communications and health education projects for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). As a communication officer at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, he developed and led place-based culturally intelligent communications strategies.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Georgia State University, and is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
