Communicating Values in Volatile Times: Finding Resilience
Foundations and non-profits are navigating a turbulent era and determining how best to connect with audiences and maintain commitments to their values.
What does resilience look like in such times? How do we define it and where do we find it? Let's deepen relationships with other communicators and leaders and learn from each other as we go.
ComNetwork SF Bay Area invites you to join us on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 to gather in community with one another and share how mission-driven communication leaders are approaching their messaging and building resilience when the principles and people fundamental to social change work are under attack.
Speakers Valerie Goode of the San Francisco Foundation and Jhumpa Bhattacharya of The Maven Collaborative will kick off the conversation, discussing how they and their organizations are navigating the dynamics of the moment. Next, we will caucus in smaller groups so you can share what you are learning and ask for advice from peers.
Stay for a social hour with refreshments after the discussion.

Speaker presentations and discussion will be from 3 - 4:30 pm, followed by a social hour from 4:30-5:30 with light refreshments.
