Virtual Breakfast Connection
As communicators for social good, we are navigating a complex and uncertain landscape—one that touches not only our work, but our personal lives and communities as well. Across the country, fear and anxiety are shaping how our organizations speak out, how we show up, and the strategic choices we make every day.
In moments like this, the messages we share become especially complex. We’re balancing clarity with care, urgency with caution, and the need to communicate plainly without escalating harm. Many of us are doing this while feeling stretched, tired, and still deeply committed to the values that brought us to this field.
The Communications Network is here to support this work by creating space for connection, shared problem-solving, and practical exchange with peers who understand the challenges and constraints of the field.
Join us on Zoom on February 25 at 9 a.m. EST for a conversation on navigating the current landscape:
What challenges are we facing as we communicate in a polarized and uncertain environment?
How are we staying grounded—personally and professionally—while making strategic decisions?
What lessons, boundaries, or practices are helping us sustain this work?
We’ll kick off with a brief check-in, followed by small-group breakouts and time to share insights across the group. No prep required—just bring your lived experience and whatever you’re carrying into this moment.
