Communicating Climate Change (Part 1 of 2)
Melissa Aronczyk, a media and communications professor at Rutgers, will discuss how foundation and nonprofit communications professionals, whatever your organization’s focus, can and should create effective and impactful climate comms strategies for connecting with their audiences in today’s climate-affected world.
The first installment of this two-part Network series will focus on how climate change touches every aspect of communications today, and what challenges and opportunities arise in this context.
We’ll explore:
The challenges and opportunities of communication in the era of climate change
Effects of the external media and information landscape on your communications
Creative approaches to climate communications
