Stacy Cervantes is the Assistant Director of Engagement, Learning & Community at The Communications Network. She oversees The Network’s webinars, In Conversations, member relations and topical groups. Her drive to help with positive change in diverse communities has mostly occurred through strategic partnership, community events and public relations, for almost 15 years.

Prior to joining The Communications Network, Stacy worked at multiple higher education institutions, including The George Washington University, Lehigh University, Rice University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It is through academia that Stacy has made many connections and

Stacy is a proud graduate of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. And, after extensively studying tourism and hallmark events, with a consulting focus on the Caribbean region, she earned dual a Masters of Tourism Administration, in Destination and Event Management, from the George Washington University.

She is an active member of both Washington DC’s historic Metropolitan AME church and Social Media Chair of the Association of Meeting Professionals. Stacy is a voracious reader of fiction and memoirs; and also spends her free time on DIY projects, various streaming binges and adventure.
