Virtual Roundtable: Systemic Racism, White Supremacy Culture, and Sustaining Momentum

This event has concluded.  Scroll down to find a full video replay.

It’s been 2 months since the murder of George Floyd sparked nationwide protests and calls for solidarity to dismantle systemic racism. How are you doing?

Back by popular demand, Minal Bopaiah and Sabine Marx of Brevity & Wit are joined by Sarah Boison from Communities in Schools to continue our discussion on how to build a more equitable world through communications and a solid understanding of key concepts.

We’ll cover:

  • What exactly is systemic racism and how does it affect schooling, particularly during Covid-19?
  • The characteristics of white supremacy culture and how it affects us all
  • Insights from behavior change science on how we can all sustain momentum for the hard but important work in front of us

Watch/read the notes from Communicating Equity When the World is on Fire, the first webinar in this two-part series.

Notes from the roundtable can be found here.
