Virtual Roundtable: Research Findings — How the Pandemic Changed #Comms4Good + What’s Ahead for the Field

This event has concluded.  Scroll down to find a full video replay.

COVID-19 has already upended almost every organization’s communications plans and playbooks — then came mass demonstrations against systemic racism.

In an effort to understand how communicators within the sector were responding to the pandemic, The Communications Network and Atlantic 57 recently surveyed 275 foundation and nonprofit communications leaders, CEOs, and board members to gain insights and illuminate best practices that can guide the next phase of our sector’s response.

One thing came across loud and clear: Comms teams are playing increasingly critical roles in both internal and external responses to the multiple crises facing the world today.

The responses to the survey also provide a window into how organizations adopted new ways of working, how storytelling has shifted, and revealed areas where there is more work to be done.

In this webinar, the team at Atlantic 57 behind the research will be sharing and explaining the findings.

We will:

  • Share a report outlining the findings from the survey
  • Provide key takeaways from the research and offer perspectives informed by our work at The Atlantic
  • Discuss what these findings say about the current status of communications today and what implications it has for communications going forward
  • Answer your questions and provide a forum for you to share your own experiences from the past four months
