ComNetworkSEATTLE: Racial Justice & Renewal with Dr. Clarence B. Jones
Where do we go from here?
As political advisor, attorney, and speechwriter for Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. Clarence B. Jones has been on the frontlines of the civil rights movement for decades. Today, he is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco, where he teaches history “From Slavery to Obama.” Dr. Jones is delighted, angry, frustrated, and sad about events today.
Why has it taken so long to acknowledge the devastating effects of racism in America? And, what’s needed to truly change—to reckon with the centuries-old pandemic of racial injustice against Black and brown people and to make reparations.
Join us for a critical and candid conversation with Dr. Jones about the march for racial justice.
