Great content marketing boils down to great storytelling and sophisticated integrated marketing strategies, areas where MCCI’s Senior Vice President Jennette Smith Kotila excels. Kotila will share a few quick tips on what storytelling and social media trends are most important for nonprofits and foundations to be paying attention to and reacting to today at our next morning gathering on June 21.
More about Jennette Smith Kotila: She joined MCCI as senior vice president/client relations in February 2018 after two decades in communications and journalism. She now serves as lead project manager on select major accounts, operates as an internal and external leader for MCCI managing work teams and complex projects, as well as contributing to new business development. Previously, she had an 18-year career as a reporter and editor at Crain’s Detroit Business.
She is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Communications Arts. Smith is a member of the governing board of Warren-based mentoring nonprofit Winning Futures and is a past board member of Commercial Real Estate Women – Detroit chapter. She recently joined the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as a member of the Board of Trustees and is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
